Our cemetery dates back to the 1830s.
It includes the gravesites of Henry Barclay and his wife Catherine. Pictured are three monuments in the older section. Cornelius Battelle was an early member of Trinity Saugerties. His residence still stands near the church.
The cemetery is on Burt Street (Rte 9W) about a quarter mile from the church. There are two sections divided by Trinity Place. The older section, on the south side of Trinity Place, dates back to the 1830s. There are no sites in it now suitable for a full burial except a few that are already owned. The top three images below are in the old section. The new section, just to the north, was begun in the 1930s. It is not filled to capacity. The three photos in the lower row below show some of the new section.
